Coach Blackshire has been coaching football for 10 years and entering his first season as the Head Football Coach and Campus Athletic Director for the War Eagles. He is thrilled to be a pivotal member of the coaching staff, here at Oak Ridge High School in Conroe ISD and is passionate about inspiring student-athletes through the three E’s: Effort, Enthusiasm, Execution!

Tyler has a B.S. degree in Kinesiology and Health Education from The University of Texas-Austin. His professional playing and coaching honors include securing 8 playoff appearances, 6 district championships, 4 state semi final appearances, and 2 back to back state championship coached football teams.

When he isn't coaching our War Eagles, you can find Tyler enjoying live music and spending quality time with his 13 younger half siblings.
