Tyler Blackshire
Coach Blackshire has been coaching football for 10 years and is the Head Football Coach and Campus Athletic Director for the War Eagles. He is thrilled to be a pivotal member of the coaching staff, here at Oak Ridge High School in Conroe ISD and is passionate about inspiring student-athletes through the three E’s: Effort, Enthusiasm, Execution!
Tyler has a B.S. in Kinesiology and Health Education from The University of Texas at Austin. His professional playing and coaching honors include securing 8 playoff appearances, 6 district championships, 4 state semi-final appearances, and 2 back-to-back state championship-coached football teams.
When he isn't coaching our War Eagles, you can find Tyler enjoying live music and spending quality time with his 13 younger half-siblings.
