Coach Sanders has been coaching Football and Girls Basketball here in the state of Texas for 3 years entering his 4th year.  He is thrilled to be a pivotal member of the coaching staff, here at Oak Ridge High School in Conroe ISD and is passionate about inspiring student-athletes through Effort, Hard work, and Heart. 

Charles has a degree in Physical Education from Oklahoma State University and Mathematics from Northern Oklahoma College (Tonkawa). His professional playing and coaching honors include coaching 5th – 12th Basketball for 20 years in Oklahoma with three high school state championships (3 Peat) and multiple state tournament appearances, Track and XC for 8 years with multiple trips to the state tournament in both sports (coaching sprints, long jumps, high jumps, and 3,200m relay).

When he isn't coaching our War Eagles, you can find Charles enjoying spending quality time with his 2 children and wife of 11 years or doing graphic design/photoshop/video editing.
