Coach Luke McGowan is entering his 1st year here at Oak Ridge High School in Conroe ISD but has been coaching Football, Soccer, and Track for 7 Years. He is fired up to be a key member of the coaching staff and is dedicated to bringing consistent high energy. As a positive role model for all student athletes, Luke promotes his consistent passion for the game, sports based competition, and education, in general.

McGowan has a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from The University of Texas at Tyler. His coaching honors include 2022 District Coach of the Year in Soccer, All East Texas Coaches Association Coach of the Year nominee in Soccer, 3 district titles in football, 2 district titles in soccer, and years of playoff experience in all sports.

When he isn't coaching our War Eagles, you can find McGowan enjoying playing his guitar, going to the theaters, concerts and live music, and spending time with friends and family.
