Stacey Smith
Coach Smith is entering his 32nd year of coaching and his 7th here at Oak Ridge. Coach Smith has coached in Mississippi for 10 years and Texas for 22 years, with stops at McCullough JH, Magnolia West HS, Stephenville HS, Conroe HS, Kempner HS, before coming to Oak Ridge HS.
He is a graduate of Pascagoula High School in Pascagoula, Mississippi, where he played football, soccer, and ran track. Coach Smith graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in ’92 with a B.S. in Coaching and Sports Administration and History, and played soccer for the Golden Eagles for 3 years, including as a walk-on kicker.
He has 2 children, Dr. Amber (Kevin) Gregory, Derek (Martha) DePasquale, and 4 grandchildren, Tyler James Gregory, Kendall Camille Gregory, Madeline Kate DePasquale, and Daniel Drayton DePasquale.
