Coach Allen is from Houston, the south side. He graduated from J. Frank Dobie High School. After that, Coach Allen attended Texas State University where he majored in Exercise Sports Science and minored in Mathematics. Coach Allen is entering his 7th year of coaching with previous stops at Martin Middle School, Lehman High School and Del Valle High School. This is his 2^nd year at Oak Ridge High School.
